THE SEISMIC SHIFT: A DIFFERENT WORLD
Philippians 2:4-5 – 4Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others. 5Let THIS MIND be in you which was also in Christ Jesus…
Proverbs 4:20-23 – 20My son, give attention to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. 21Do not let them depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart; 22for they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh. 23
Keep your heart with all diligence, FOR OUT OF IT SPRING THE ISSUES OF LIFE.
I. We start with Honesty about the Journey – (Why only 10% do this)
Colossians 1:13 – He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love.
Acts 17:5-7 – 5the Jews who were not persuaded, becoming envious, took some of the evil men from the marketplace, and gathering a mob, set all the city in an uproar and attacked the house of Jason, and sought to bring them out to the people. 6 But when they did not find them, they dragged Jason and some brethren to the rulers of the city, crying out, “These who have TURNED THE WORLD UPSIDE DOWN have come here too. 7 Jason has harbored them, and these are all acting contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying there is another king—Jesus.”
Luke 9:23 – Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”
II. The Simple Formula for Life: Input ➔ Process ➔ Harvest
Galatians 6:7-8 – 7Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. 8For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life.
THE WORLD SYSTEM — Why It Produces Stress (Input ➔ Process ➔ Harvest)
• Input: Fear, Scarcity, Self
- Fear = threat-based thinking
- Scarcity = never enough mentality- Self = survival-first living
• Process: Control, Comparison, Protection
- Control replaces trust
- Comparison feeds insecurity
- Protection blocks generosity
• Harvest: Anxiety, Striving, Limitation
- “Stress is not random — it’s system fruit.”
THE KINGDOM SYSTEM — Why It Produces Multiplication (Input ➔ Process ➔ Harvest)
• Input: Faith, Word, Spirit
• Process: Trust, Obedience, Sowing
• Harvest: Peace, Provision, Multiplication
Luke 6:38 – “Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”
IF YOU WANT KINGDOM HARVEST, YOU MUST RUN KINGDOM SYSTEMS.
III. Three Core Contrasts between the Two Systems
1. There is a SOURCE difference
- Human Logic = begins with Self as the reference point
- Kingdom Logic = begins with God as the reference point
Proverbs 3:5-6 – 5Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; 6In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
2. There is a PROCESS difference – Human thinking Manages Life, but Kingdom thinking Releases Life.
• Human Thinking Process
- Control Outcomes
- Protect Resources- Engineer Security
• Kingdom Thinking Process
- Trust God
- Release Seed
- Walk by Faith
Psalm 24:1 – The earth is the LORD’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein.
3. There is an OUTCOME difference – Human systems can produce success, but only Kingdom systems produce fruit that remains.
• Human Outcomes
- Achievement with anxiety
- Progress with pressure
- Success with exhaustion
Ecclesiastes 2:11 – Then I looked on all the works that my hands had done And on the labor in which I had toiled; And indeed all was vanity and grasping for the wind. There was no profit under the sun.
• Kingdom Outcomes
- Peace with Productivity
- Rest with Results
- Provision through Multiplication
2 Timothy 4:7-8 – 7I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 8Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
Step 1 — Choose Your SystemYou don’t become a 10% Percenter by accident. You choose which system will govern your thinking. Either the World system, or God’s Kingdom System.
Step 2 — Challenge Your Processor This Week
- Ask yourself, “Why do I think this way about _______?”
- Let Scripture begin to rewire your thinking. Proverbs is a great place to start.
