Worship is sacrifice. We can offer many different sacrifices to God, including our time, our money, and our service. Our team’s passion is worshipping God through music and media. We demonstrate His worth to us by giving of our gifts and talents, and glorifying Him through the songs that we sing each Sunday.

Our goal is to join together in unity to offer honor and worship to God in expectation of his presence, and to help prepare people’s hearts to receive God’s word.
The Worship Ministry involves people with distinct musical, creative and technical gifts uniting together to offer worship to God. Our passion is to glorify and honor God, to lead people and to grow and develop personally.

We sing mostly contemporary worship music with some traditional music as well. The style varies, but we prioritize Scripturally-sound songs that will allow us to worship, as John 4:24 says, in spirit and truth. Our band and praise team lead every week, with the choir joining them typically on every third Sunday of the month.

There are a lot of ways to get involved with the worship team, including: the choir, production team, dramatic arts team, vocal team, and band! We are always looking for people with a passion for worship and for serving the Lord, and we would love to help you grow in your gifts!

WORSHIP
The Worship Team consists of the band, vocal team, and choir. This team leads worship through music from the platform each Sunday, with the choir joining on the 3rd Sunday of each month.

The band and vocal team are open to anyone who is a regular attender of our church, and who is gifted in the area of music. These teams do require an audition before joining, so please fill out this form to let us know you’re interested in setting one up!
The choir is for anyone who is part of our church and has a heart for worship through song. It does not require an audition, and rehearsals are each Thursday at 6pm. You can email us to get more information!
PRODUCTION
The Production Team runs all things technical, not just for the Worship Team, but for most services and events on campus! This team serves through audio, video directing, camera operating, lighting, and more.

To get started on the Production Team, we’ll sit down together and talk about your gifts and desired area of service. Don’t worry if you don’t have experience- we have training in place for all positions! You can get started by emailing our Production Staff.
DRAMATIC ARTS
The Dramatic Arts Team serves our church and community through plays and productions, many of them original to Northside. This team consists of writers, actors, singers, dancers, set builders, and more.
