LIVE FULL / DIE EMPTY — FULL IS NOT FINISHED

Mark 4:26-29— 26 And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, 27 and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. 28 For the earth yields crops byi tself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. 29 But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”

Genesis 1:28—Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitul and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

I. Process #1: REAPING — Release from the Field

• The Sickle Announces That Your Season Has Changed

• The Sickle Separates You from the Place that Produced You

Genesis 12:1—Now the LORD had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, from your family and from your father’s house, to a land that I will show you.”

THE 1ST DECISION OF THE HARVEST: You must release what God has finished using in your growth.

II. Process #2: GATHERING — CollecTIng Together the Full Harvest

Luke 2:19—But Mary kept all these things and pondered them in her heart.

• You Must Gather Your Events Before You Can Discern Your Message

• Gathering Helps You Identify What the Season Produced

THE 2ND DECISION OF THE HARVEST: You must gather all the events of your life and discern the theme, the message, and the meaning for the whole.

III. Process #3: THRESHING — SeparaTIng the Grain from the Stalk

• Harvested Does Not Mean Usable

Threshing – the process of separating the valuable grain from the stalk, husk, and other material that carried and protected it during growth

Hebrews 12:1—Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us.

• Threshing Removes What GREW with You But Cannot GO with You

• You Must Honor What Carried You Without Remaining Attached to It

THE 3RD DECISION OF HARVEST: You must release what has completed its assignment in you.
